The seven checks

Title length: does the searchable phrase survive the truncation point around 70 characters?

Description depth: at least 100 words, with the main phrase in the first line.

Timestamps: chapters lift retention on anything over four minutes and give you extra keyword surface.

Tags: 10–15 of them, each 3–4 words.

Thumbnails: custom and high-resolution on every single upload, no auto-generated frames.

Upload pace: at least one a week, on a day people can learn.

Views-per-subscriber: under 5% means the audience you already have isn't clicking.

What to fix first

Always packaging before publishing more. Rewriting titles and thumbnails on your existing library gets YouTube to re-test videos it has already indexed, which is far faster than starting a new video from zero.

Then fix tags and descriptions across the last ten uploads in one sitting. Then, and only then, worry about output.
